I’m very sorry. I know a little of what you are feeling right now since my dad has prostate cancer (granted my dad is over a decade older than yours, though!) and he is having surgery next month and until a few months after the surgery they won’t be sure they got it all. It’s really scary thinking about your parents aging and dying. Your family will be in my prayers.

Sorry about the heartburn…I had it horribly with my pregnancy with Grace. I did finally find something that helped, fresh papaya! Unfortunately I can’t stand the stuff, but when I could make myself choke some down it really helped. Maybe you could try that?
